Launched in 2014, Wines of Hungary UK, is the key project of Wine Communications, a London based wine marketing and communications agency. We represent a group of established Hungarian winemakers with ambitions to introduce their wines to the UK market and help them in building sales. Wine Communications works on both B2B and B2C level.<br /> We work with the wine makers and assist them through each steps of the distribution channel, either with market entry strategy into the UK market to lead generation, or driving volumes with sales support, communication, and promotional activities.<br />

BUSINESS ASSESSMENT

Evaluating the winery’s market potential, discovering sales channel targets, recommending market entry portfolio. Analyzing existing importer performance and business relationship, evaluating growth potential.

Developing a yearly business-to-business market entry strategy to build awareness and demand for the wines within potential importers. Creating a yearly business-to-business and business-to-consumer strategy and activity plan to support the sales of the wines already on the UK market.

Ensuring continuous communication on both trade and consumer level, including winemaker profile and wine listings on the winehungary.co.uk website, printed Wines of Hungary portfolio, postings on the social media channels, monthly newsletter to the wine trade decision makers, trade and consumer press articles, championing the Hungarian wines/wineries within key UK influencers.

Represent the wineries on prestigious trade tastings. Organizing the Annual Wines Of Hungary UK trade tasting. Introducing wines with established distribution to the UK on targeted consumer events.<br /> Organizing buyer visits to Hungary, Hungarian master classes /tastings for buyers, sommeliers.<br /> Support importer’s sales activity with restaurant/wine shop visits.

CUSTOMER/IMPORTER RELATIONSHIP MANAGEMENT

Lead Generation – discover and contact potential importers on behalf of the winery, organize tastings, samples.<br /> Importer relationship management: providing information about the wines, handling all steps of the wine from the winery on the route to the customers.<br /> Supporting winery – importer business relationship. Wine database management allows us to provide accurate and up to date information about the wines for the importers. Sample storage in our temperature controlled UK warehouse.<br /> Providing monthly activity/performance report for the wineries.<br />

Organizing in house importer sales team trainings. Support sales force with sommelier/ buyer trainings, master classes, tasting.<br /> Wines of Hungary UK are the knowledge hub for the UK trade/consumer press. Our wine experts create continuously education articles about Hungarian wines, wine regions, indigenous grape varieties for the press.
