Kúria Chardonnay 2011
Aromas of green grass, grapefruit and elderflower. A rich wine that exudes juicy fruitiness, good body and ripe acidity. Strong yet elegant, and with impressive length.
Grapes hand harvested in several steps. After careful cool pressing, 65 % underwent reductive, low temperature fermentation in stainless steel tanks, and 30 % was fermented in large 20 hl Hungarian oak barrels; the remaining 5 % was fermented in new 300-liter oak barrels. Matured on the fine lees for six months, then bottled following another three months of maturation.
