Kovács Nimród Egri Csillag
This wine is a blend of selected high quality fruit from different parts of the Eger region. Grape varieties include 30% Olaszrizling (Welshriesling), 30% Leányka, 20% Szurkebarát (Pinot Gris), and 20% Chardonnay. Once crushed, the wine is immediately pressed. After sedimentation, it undergoes cold fermentation and is aged in tanks to retain the fresh characters.

Description
Egri Csillag translates to ‘Star of Eger’. Egri Csillag must, by local law contain at least 4 different grape varieties in the blend, one of which must be native to the Carpathian Basin area – Leanyka in this instance.
A white blend of gentle aromas and flavours. There’s lovely honeysuckle aromas mixed with lifted lime fruit. The palate is light and fresh with subtle melon, green apple flavours and gentle honey notes.
