Tokaj Nobilis Winery
The Tokaj Nobilis was founded in 2000, but viticulture is a long tradition in the family, they have been cultivating some areas for 70 years. They currently produce grapes on 7 hectares on the border of Bodrogkisfalud in the Barakonyi and Csirke-mál vineyards, where Furmint, Hárslevelű, Sárga muscat and Kövérszőlő varieties can be found.
The winery is located in the heart of the wine region, in Bodrogkeresztúr, in a house built in the late 1800s. For them winemaking begins in the vineyard, as the wine is basically determined by the quality of the grapes. They harvest 30 hl / ha of wine per hectare after the extremely strict pruning, sprouting and cluster selection. Most of their wines are fermented in wooden barrels and aged for several months or years. In addition to dry, vineyard-selected wines and Aszú, they produce méthode traditionelle sparling wine from Furmint as well.
