Very refreshing Tokaj white with a floral perfume and a pure, vibrant body of white peach, honey and zesty clementines.

Sanzon Tokaj Rany Harslevelu is a dry white wine from Tokaj, Hungary. It’s 100% Furmint with 13.0% abv. Suitable for Vegans. Organic.

This wine showcases one of Tokaj’s most important white grapes, Harslevelu, at one of the region’s finest vineyards: Rany. Created by winemaker Erika Racz, owner of the boutique Sanzon Tokaj winery in the village of Erdőbénye in the heart of Tokaj. The wine is fully organic and aged for six months on lees in the tank. The resulting wine is deep and complex with a lean acidity, floral and sweet clementine aromas, and a textured palate of peaches, honey, orange zest, ginger spice and citrus. Serve lightly chilled.

Pairs beautifully with: Carrot and ginger soup, grilled trout, chicken and paprika stew, salmon donburi, Vietnamese cuisine or fish pie.

Cheese pairing: Ashy, earthy cheese like Olivet Cendré makes a good contrast, or complement the wine with ripe Brie, mature goat’s cheese or Swiss Emmental.
