HOLDVÖLGY cultivates 28 hectares, situated on 30 parcels within 7 vineyards in the best areas of the Mád basin. This village holds a special position in the world of winegrowing because of its volcanic soil, unique macro- and microclimate. Sustainable viticulture under strict control, each parcel, each grape variety is harvested and vinified separately. The average annual production is 60.000 bottles. The estate owns one of the oldest cellar systems in the region, with some parts dating back as far as the 16th century, with length of almost 2 km, being the perfect place for ageing sweet and dry Tokaji wines.
